Project Details:
I created this animation to enter into a twice-yearly 3D rendering challenge, organised by the artist Pwnisher. For each challenge he creates a short camera movement, and a basic scene. Entrants have to keep the camera and the feel of the scene, and can then create any animation they want. Each challenge has a 30 day deadline.
With only around 25 hours to spend on this project, my main aims were to try to capture attention, and to hint at a longer story playing out.
Whilst there are some elements I'd like to revisit at some point, I'm very happy with how this turned out.
Note:
Human characters, vehicle, and equipment 3D assets were not originally modelled or textured by me, although they were modified to suit this piece.
